Xbox Media Center finally came up with a translator through Bobbin007. XBMC V0.1 aims to simplify the whole process of updating a language file. Bobbin007, a loyal exponent of the german laguage file, shares, "After a lot of pondering and hacking, I proudly present the first version of my XBMC translator. I hope this tool will be useful as it is now, but as always, I'm open for suggestions."
Currently, the first version of the translator create new translations as it keeps track of untranslated strings and changed strings. A search function was also included to easily find strings. The language file is saved with utf-8 encoding. Also, the file also allows editing language specific settings like codepage, even date and time format.
