In light of the Pac-Man World Championship (which has caused the leaderboards on XBLA to reset) Major Nelson posts a pdf book on his blog aptly titled "Break a Million at Pac-Man."

The book's been out since 1982, and Major Nelson himself notes that he can't think of an earlier strategy guide than this. The book has memory aids, patters to various levels, even tips on how to develop your own patterns.

If you're not confident about your old-school skills and you're hankering to join the Pac-Man World Championship because you're ranking fell victim to the reset, then this book will be mighty helpful.

Amusing that game guides in the 1980s were written by people with a PhD in Computer Engineering. Now, thanks to the internet... well you know how it goes.
