File Description
While homebrew developers have contributed some very ground breaking helps on various platforms, it doesn't mean that they can't develop stuff just for fun. Developer Francis Bonnin has come up with an amusing homebrew app which touches up your iPhone with some neat visual effects with Waves v1.1.
The application basically uses a predefined image or your wallpaper and distorts them using a wave-like effect similar to that on Infantile Paralisiser. You can also extend this effect on other screens by clicking on the floating button after the application is closed.
Here's the complete list of changes found with the latest version of Waves:
1.1 (08/01/2007): *Addition of the floating button allowing to play with the different screens of the device (i.e. the picture app). *Addition of the Double-Tap allowing to quit the wave play screen. *Screens Transitions. *'About' and 'Help' buttons added. *Slug.jpg image removed. *Better image borders handling. *Slightly improved performances. 1.0 (23/12/2007): *Release of the application.
The developer also mentions that you can download an updated version of the app from the beta repository at ipodtouchfans.com (http://www.touchrepo.com/betarepo.xml). On the other hand, you can install the file below directly onto the root directory of your iPhone. Either way, enjoy the download.
