Homebrew developer jonz recently added a battery of changes to the iPhone-based NES emulator, NES.app. Version 2.2.1 includes a lot of modifications to its landscape mode and even added accelerometer support to give the emulator a unique feel for its controls.

The developer decided to do a complete revamp to NES.app's landscape mode, which fixed many of the previous bugs noted in older releases. The new accelerometer support also gives the emulator a unique spin on how you want to play your favorite NES games.

Anyway, here's are all the changes made to NES.app since our previous coverage:

Pulled out old landscape code, sick of maintaining it and some CoreSurface bugs in 2.0 make it very difficult
Fixed button indicators to avoid cutting of gray border
Added new landscape code, left-only rotation with transparency
