It looks like homebrew developers nervegas and jordan have been hard at work. They recently announced the release of NES.app v1.13.0. For those who missed our coverage on the NES.app v1.12.0, this application it is an NES emulator for the iPhone with various features such as zapper and Game Genie support.

This latest version adds a two new features that the community has been asking for. The first update is the addition of a confirmation step when deleting saved games. This helps players avoid accidentally deleting their precious saved games when managing their files.

The second update is a cosmetic change for the "Don't Save" option when quitting a game. The developer described the new button as a "destructive/red button." Hey, if you're coming from a bad game of Megaman, screaming "fire the laser" while pressing the button is bound to cheer you up.
