If you want to keep yourself up to date on the latest news happenings while you're on the go, you might want to take a look at developer Will Dietz's iNewsGroup for the iPhone. This newsgroup client made especially for the iPhone helps keep tabs on the latest information from your favorite newsgroups.

The newest version takes care of some bugs in the latest 1.1.3 firmware released by Apple. Notable changes in previous versions also include proper DNS resolution and some fixes in the application's user interface.

In anycase, here's the complete changelog of iNewsGroup since its first release last December:

1.0.5 Release (2/11/08)
Firmware 1.1.3 support fixed. Thanks Tinman for feedback and testing.

1.0.4 Release (2/1/08)
There was a bug where it didn't save preferences in 1.1.3. This should be fixed now.
Proper DNS resolution-- see http://dtztech.com/blog/?p=20 for more details. No longer uses http request, should be able to access servers like usenet-access.com and others
Few memory leak fixes
Very minor text changes

"Real Name" option in preferences now in order to post with your name
Dates are now visible in thread and group views

Actually think that 'message from top' bug is finally gone.
