File Description
Hardcore, baby.

If there's one thing that's more hardcore than singlehandedly taking down a mob with machine guns or Xtreme racing, it's gotta be this game.
Ponies and Kittens!
What's it about? Ponies and kittens.

HardHat has released version 1.0 of Ponies and Kittens, and it works like one part platformer, and another part Lemmings. As his readme tells us,

You are a pink pony, who is charged with the magical task to find kittens and pair them up. It won't be easy, you need to run and jump from platform to platform, pushing crates and hay bales into position, and taking elevators to reach the highest heights.

Seriously though, it's not exactly Grand Theft Auto and it certainly isn't Pong but it's quirky and cute, in its own way. It's as if you took a good program and decided to poke fun at the entire genre it was based on as an afterthought. Anyway, according to HardHat himself the game "is based on a random comment by Zezu on the IRC channel #pspdev that custom firmwares should include "dogs -- no ponies and kitties." It was also made for an open source contest, so the code itself is under the revised BSD license and you can probably tweak it to not show ponies and kittens.

Of course, then we'd have to joke about you not being man enough for Ponies and Kittens. Enjoy!
