Developer Jaklub has just announced on the QJ.NET PSP Development Forums JPong 0.5 for the PSP. The latest version of the homebrew has new backgrounds, music, and obstacles. In case you missed our previous article on JPong 0.4, this game is an updated version of the Atari classic Pong and plays in pretty much the same manner as the old school game.

PSP owners who played an older version of JPong will notice that the Lolcat track is now different. Players will also be able to select new special objects on the map such as large wall, 2 large walls, and vertical speeder. Finally, those who have gotten tired of the old background will be happy to see that there are two new backgrounds added in the game.

Since the application didn't come with any documentation, players who plan on trying this game out might want to know that the first player uses the d-pad to control his paddle while the second player uses the triangle and cross buttons.
