Japanese dev mediumgauge has released the newest version of his simple PSP file browser app, PSP Filer. It's a nifty application for keeping tabs on all your files, as it allows you to view and rename everything saved on your PSPs memory stick. Changes made in this application include:

* new XMB icon
* included eboot.pbp for fw1.5 users
* VBR format mp3 are now playable

image viewer:

* default zoom level for images that are larger than the screen is set to "zoom to fit."
* default zoom level for images that are smaller than the screen is increased
* pushing left or right while viewing the current image will show the previous or next picture in the same directory
* four color PNG images are now displaying correctly
* fixed a bug with 1-part pallet PNG images

On a final note, press the start button when you're done loading the file, otherwise, you'll get Japanese characters in your menu.
