File Description

Homebrew coder SuperFury1 has dropped by our forums to release a new version of POPStation PSP, a nifty app from the good ole' days that allows you to convert PSX games to eboot using your PSP.

Changelog:

  • Added optional images/music to both v3.1 and v4.2 conversions (4.2 is also compatible with 4.1 conversions; nothing changed there)
    • The images should be stored in either the popstation directory (defaults for all games) or in the subdirectory named by PSX ID (SLUSXXXXXX, so ICON0.PNG for ID "SLUS00001" would be PSPGAMEpopstation-pspSLUS00001ICON0.PNG).
    • The images/music that can be used (both defaults and ID directories) for v3.1 and v4.2 conversions: v4.2: ICON0.PNG, ICON1.PMF, PIC0.PNG, PIC1.PNG, SND0.AT3
    • the defaults for v4.0 have added _md to the filename, for example: ICON0_md.PNG, ICON1_md.pmf etc. v3.1: ICON0.PNG, PIC0.PNG, PIC1.PNG
    • If the images aren't found in the subdirectory, the defaults will be used. The defaults will give higher priority to the files,
  • BASE.PBP (or BASE_md.PBP) will have the lowest priority:
    • Priority list (first tries 1, next 2, finally 3 if not found):
      1. PSX ID Directory (ex. SLUS00001ICON0.PNG)
      2. POPStation Directory (ex. ICON0.PNG/ICON0_md.PNG)
      3. BASE.PBP/BASE_md.PBP (depends on conversion) contained images.
