People have been up in arms lately and there has been a lot of discussion about the demise of the PSP scene. Today we have another release from Developer Avanaboy who is doing his part to put those ideas of a dead scene to rest. Avanaboy has released P-Tester v2 which is a diagnostic tool for your PSP. P-Tester lets you do a lot of testing on things such as the buttons as well as fixing pixels and several other useful functions. Listed below is a message from Avanaboy on what P-Tester can do for your PSP.
"With P-TESTER you can :
*Test your PSP BUTTONS
*Test your PSP DISPLAY FOR STUCK PIXELS and FIX IT!!
*Test your PSP AUDIO SYSTEM
*Test your PSP BATTERY (since V1.5)
*Test your UMD Drive and your UMDs (since V2.0)
more features will be added soon ..

I'm releasing the source code too. I think that this might be useful
for those that want to learn psp programming basics, and for those that
just want to see how P-TESTER works."
