Looking for apps for your 6.39 CFWs? Well, here's one courtesy of coder cortez442... as he releases an unofficial build of OpenTube, a handy streaming application for your homebrewed PSP.
Based on coder biscottealacrevette's OpenTube release, the latest update of the app brings the brew to all 6.39 CFW users, well, except for Custom Firmware 6.39 PRO. This one won't work because according to coder cortez442, there are some problems with the video codec.
Last month, biscottealacrevette released an open soure version of OpenTube, allowing users to furthe improve the brew. So what's the difference between OpenTube and PSPtube? Well, according to the dev:
- PSPtube store the video in RAM, so its impossible to seek back.
- Open Tube use the MS as cache, problem : it's impossible to write and read at the same time but i'm working on it (maybe using sceIo*async )
- PSPtube use FFmpeg
- OpenTube use ME chip : some 4:3 video's aren't supported
