The PRO team has updated their LCFW for those PSP users that have difficulty intalling the complete or full version of PRO-C. This release is for PRO C – 6.20 6.35 6.39 6.60 and you can view a developer statement as well as the installation instructions below.
"For those who cant install cfw and cant use prometheus well now you can with Light Custom Firmware PRO-C i have tried it and played god eater burst
and it actually works so if you have a psp that cant have cfw just use this .
Installation:
• Download a PROMOD-C 6.xx;
• Connect your PSP to the computer via USB;
• Pass your PSP in “USB mode” with the option “USB Connection”;
• Right-click on the file you downloaded;
• Choose “Extract files …” (WinRAR is recommended);
• Choose like destination the letter assigned to your PSP from your computer;
• Press OK and wait extraction files;
• Open (or go here if this is the first plugin that you install) file GAME.txt and sign the following line:
• ms0 :/ seplugins / atpro.prx 1 -> To PSP not Go;
• EF0 :/ seplugins / atpro.prx 1 -> To PSP Go
• Open the file and enter the Hotspot.txt SSID of your network;
• Leave the “USB mode” on your PSP;
• Go to the menu Game> Memory Stick (or Storage System) to start the installation (icon “Update”);
• A menu will appear;
• Press. Several lines appear. Press again once the installation is complete;
• Congratulations, you are now equipped with a 6.35 PROMOD-C.
Using the Fast Recovery:
If you restart your console on the official firmware, you can run Fast Recovery. This application will automatically launch the Light custom firmware if it is installed.
• Go to the menu Thursday> Memory Stick (or Storage System) to start PROMOD-C 6.35 Fast Recovery.
How to play an online game:
• You must initially configure your network and internet enable UPnP if it is not, refer to the manual of your router / box for more information;
• Open the file and enter the Hotspot.txt SSID of your network;
• On the PSP, go to the Recovery Menu (Select in the XMB, then Recovery Menu), then Advanced:
• The option Inferno & NP9660 Use ISO Cache should be set to Disabled;
• The High Memory Layout Force option must be Enabled.
• To play games online you simply lift the WLAN button, and you just lower it to play in ad hoc simply;
• Everything is ready, now enjoy your favorite games online!"
