File Description

The PS Vita is out and has already seen mandadory firmware updates by Sony.  Thanks to Zhile for providing an opportunity to bypass the Vita's firmware checks.

 

You can install this with the following steps.

  • Download the OpenCMA files below.
  • Extract the files to the installation directory of CMA.
  • Execute the 'ran.bat' file. (Run As Administrator if using Vista/Win 7)
  • Reopen the CMA. The checks should be disabled now.

Zhile issued the following statement:

"psp2-updatelist.xml update files in disguise. If you really need to upgrade later, you can upgrade to temporarily rename this file before, but this update from the Internet. Or download the latest psp2-updatelist.xml to the CMA directory:"

After the restart CMA is not networked, or whether there will not force an update of the CMA strike."
