File Description
RStats v1.02b
by Noomatik

A simple add-on to track basic resource statistics -- ore (and gems) mined, bars smelted, herbs gathered, pelts skinned, and leathers/hides crafted. It does not monitor any other activities related to professions (no products of alchemy or blacksmithing or leatherworking other than leathers/hides). I'm sure other mods are much more sophisticated or extensive in regard to resource monitoring (Gatherer comes to mind), but I wanted something simple which would just show the amount of resources accumulated during a session. The following slash commands are valid:

/rstats mining
/rstats smelting
/rstats herb
/rstats skin
/rstats leather

You can abbreviate /rstats to /rst, mining to mi, smelting to sm, herb to he, skin to sk, and leather to le.

Each command brings up a basic window which displays the related resources for that skill. The window also displays overall statistics ('success rate') and amount of resource items collected or crafted thus far, as well as skill level progression for the current session for the related profession. Each window is independent and movable, and any number of stat windows can be displayed simultaneously. Additionally, the chat frame displays resource-related statistics while gathering or crafting is occuring. (See screen shots.)

At this point, the add-on does not maintain data between sessions (I'm just too lazy, I guess).

The code is no doubt quite crude and my skills at XML and UI design are minimal at best, but perhaps someone may find it mildly interesting or useful.

NEW in v1.01f: You can use /rstats chat (or ch) to toggle the RStats chat messages off or on.

NEW in v1.02: RStats now features a graphical button which can be positioned anywhere on-screen using the right mouse button. Left-clicking the button brings up a simple options menu to toggle any of the resource statistics summary windows. There is also a menu option to toggle off or on the RStats chat messages. This version also includes a couple of new slash commands: /rstats button (or bt) will hide or display the button, and /rstats reset (or rst) will reposition the button to its default starting location (anchored to the lower left corner of the zone name above the mini-map). These options are also on the button's drop-down menu. (Note: if you disable/hide the button from the menu, obviously you will need to use the /rstats button command to re-enable/display it again.) Enjoy.
