Share your herb, ore, and treasure chest gatherings collected by the Gatherer addon (required) with other people also using the GathererShare addon.
NOTE: The GathererShare protocol has changed in release 0.3.2. Older versions of GathererShare are now unsupported and will not work with new versions. Please update your old versions today.
As others gather resources, you will also collect the information about what they gathered and where it is located (as they will also see your gathering).
When you share or learn about nodes gathered by others, a message will be displayed on the console and a sound will play. Messages and sounds can be disabled.
No configuration, just put GathererShare and ChannelCast (an included support library) into your InterfaceAddons folder.
You can watch a zone in your world map (and 'show items') and about every 30 seconds you will see the latest information appear as it is added to the Gatherer database.
Commands:
/gshare messages [on|off|shared|learned] (default: on - both shared and learned)
- Turn messages on, off, or on only for shared or learned data.
/gshare sound [on|off] (default: on)
- Turn sound on or off when data is learned.
/gshare updatenote [on|off] (default: on)
- Turn the update notification on or off.
/gshare color [on|off] (default: on)
- Turn the use of color on or off.
/gshare settings
- Display the current settings.
/gshare GathererDump [on|off] (default: off)
- Enable/disable receipt of messages sent by the GathererDump addon (http://ui.worldofwar.net/ui.php?id=2067).
