AuctionScan - The 'Must-Have' Add-On for Auctioneer!

AuctionScan is a World of Warcraft Auctioneer Add On that runs completely outside of the game using Auctioneer LUA files. You must have Auctioneer v3.2.X installed on your World of Warcraft PC in order to obtain the lua data file that this application uses. While at work, on the road, or anywhere else you may not be able to sign on to WoW, a user is able to pull up specific server prices for items that have been seen in the Auction House.

AuctionScan is not a WoW Mod, but rather a self contained application that uses WoW Auctioneer Data files for reporting general information about Auction House items. You can have your World of Warcraft on one PC with the Auctioneer Mod installed, take the lua file and bring it/send it to you work PC, and have full access to your Auction House data! (Without WoW Installed on it!)

Do your comparisons while away from WoW to see if it pays to sell the raw materials for Major Mana Pots, or craft the Pots and sell those at the AH. Is it better to craft that Mooncloth Robe, or sell the Mooncloth Sheets? What do golden pearls go for on my server? AuctionScan can answer all these questions and more!

AuctionScan can also export your server's LUA file data to a CSV which can easily be imported into an Excel sheet. The CSV Export can be done in two different formats.

1) One Line/Item: This will print one line for each item and have the multiple prices displayed in a new column for each price.

2) One Line/Price: This will print one line for each price. You will have multiple items listed and a unique price for each.

AuctionScan will not work with double-byte characters but should work with most languages.

Please Note: You MUST have Auctioneer 3.2.X lua data files for this application to work. It will not work with Auctioneer 3.0.X lua data files or earlier. Auctioneer will automatically convert the LUA file to 3.2.X format after the first scan with the new version of the mod installed.

If you run into problems, please run the program with a -debug flag (ie: run the program from the command line like this: AuctionScan.exe -debug).
This will produce an AuctionScan.log file. Please zip up this file along with your auctioneer.lua file and send it to motagus -at- gmail -dot- com.
