Homebrew developer Kukulcan is at it once again with the release of Escape, an adventure game where players take the role of a man who found himself stranded in an unknown island after losing control of his spaceship. As Captain Maouss, it's the player's job to survive in this inhospitable place while bartering with the natives in order to get the ticket out of the island.

Here are the recent changes to the game:

* Improved display of position on the map (idea: Schyzo)

July 19, 2008

* Moving in 4 directions CSA now possible (Idea: Orion-Jones)
* Improving the routine of the alien (Programming: Neumann)
* Adding a cry to differentiate the death of a man or a woman (Idea: Alexis B. - www.arcade-history.com)
* Voices on the main menu (Voice: Alexis B. - www.arcade-history.com)

The game comes in two versions, EFS Version 1, and EFS Version 2. The differences between the two versions mainly fall on flashcard/homebrew platform compatibilities. Check out the list below to help you determine which version to install on your card:

EFS Version 1

Works with:

* DS-X 4Gb (Slot 1)
* MK5 DX 16 Gbit (Slot 1), OS of origin
* R6 Gold (Slot 1) Micro SD card
* Supercard DS One (Slot 1) with 2GB SD card, OS: supercard v3.10
* M3 FC (Slot 2), firmware v35
* Supercard SD (Slot 2) SD Card 2 GB

Does not work with:

* GAMES N 'MUSIC (Slot 1) Micro SD card
* Max Media Docks FC 4 GB (Slot 2)
* M3 mini SD (slot 2)

EFS Version 2

Works with:

* M3 mini SD (slot 2)

Does not work with:

* GAMES N 'MUSIC (Slot 1) Micro SD card
* Max Media Docks FC 4 GB (Slot 2)
