Playing GBA games in your iPod? Preposterous! But yes, it's possible with the port of Exophase's gpSP Game Boy Advance emulator, igpSP. Maintained by Keripo, the latest version of igpSP is a port of the latest source code of gpSP, v0.9 2Xb.
Some features are added in this latest revision, which includes the ability to overclock the iPod for a significant speed-up, as well as some other iPod-specific settings. Check out the updated and complete list of features of igpSP:
* Port of latest open-source source code (gpSP 0.9 2Xb) * ARM optimizations via GP2X target * Uses hotdog for fast graphics rendering on the iPod * Overclocks iPod to 78MHz (or up to 81MHz) for significant speed-up * Able to achieve 50-80% real-time speeds (depending on the game - see ROM list below) * Slow but working sound support (no sound recommended for significant speed-up) * Added iPod-specific settings and speed-up tweaks
To get this application running, you need to go over all the included documentation that comes with the download before attempting installation. Enjoy!
