Thanks to the efforts of developer Saduger, a new third-party application was recently released which allows users the liberty of jailbreaking, activating and unlocking their Apple device's firmware up to 1.1.4.

iLibertyX for the OSX (iLiberty+ for Windows) comes with a packages console which is allows for a very user-friendly interface when trying to install pre-made third party payloads onto your iPhone or iPod Touch like dropbear ssh. It also includes a payload to reflash the wifi, edge or bluetooth of your device.

In addition, this nifty app can also upgrade the bootloader on 3.9 b/l phones should you feel the need to do so. However, the bootloader upgrade doesn't work on ziphone unlocked phones.

As always, please be very careful when installing any software which tries to jailbreak and unlock your iPhone's firmware.
