Apple homebrew developer Zibri is pushing his jailbreak application further yet again, this time upgrading ZiPhone to work on iPod Touch. Not only is it less risky, but ZiPhone version 2.6b is also now compatible with another Apple gadget aside from the iPhone.

According to Zibri, ZiPhone v2.6b had to be done since many users report that they encounter problems when jailbreaking the iPod Touch. The developer explained what to do to make ZiPhone successfully do its job on the Apple gizmo:

Ok then.. running previous versions of ZiPhone on an iPod, somebody messed up the NVRAM... Not a problem really! :) Get the new version and click on CLEAR/FIX NVRAM. Then after reboot click on the IPOD jailbreak. Enjoy !
