Don't pack away those drum sticks just yet, because homebrew developer Xsjado7 has released the latest version of VDrum v2.0, a drum kit simulator for the PlayStation Portable. The newest update includes a lot of added tweaks which improve the overall performance of this already fun drum sim.

Version 2 of the program is actually a reworked version from scratch to improve a lot of code in terms of performance. You may also notice the new menu which allows you to organize different drum combinations you've set up.

Anyway, here's the latest changelog since the last version of VDrum:

*Completely rewritten from scratch
*Added an all new menu to organize things/chucked combinations
*Added the option to use the ride bell
*Added the option to open the hats every certain amount of hits - specify in menu

However there are still some known bugs still plaguing the application. Here's the complete list that you should watch out for when running VDrum:

*Holding the analog stick in a certain direction for a few seconds will freeze the game
*Pressing start a heap of times will freeze the game
*Not having all the images/sounds in the correct folders will freeze the game
