Over on the QJ.Net Forums, waywardson has released Tank Attack-2 v1, a homebrew game for your PSP that lets you shoot at a friend while using the same PSP. This appears to be an all-new Tank Attack compared to his previous release last year.

As you can probably guess, the PSP is held on its side, while players use either the directional buttons or the face buttons to move and the Left Trigger or Right Trigger to fire a shot at your opponent. The object of the game is simply to hit the other person while evading his shots, and it makes for interesting gameplay, seeing as you're both holding on to the same PSP to do everything.

As always, we suggest you check the included readme file for instructions on using and installing the game. While you wait for the your download of the game to complete, here's a list of features that are a part of the game:
