Thanks to the NeoGAF forums, we've found out that there's a new patch coming out for the PC version of Capcom's Resident Evil 4. The patch seems to upgrade the graphics, adding some lighting effects to specific areas.

As you can see in the above screenshots, the lighting effect definitely adds a distinct mood to the game. Instead of assuming there's a fluorescent lamp off-screen, the game now gets to have dark rooms illuminated by the on-screen red light. Spooky!
