File Description
Zx-81 most love his emulators and the games that go with them. Just shortly after releasing the latest version of PSPsim for our usage, he's announcing the release of PSPBeeb version 1.0.8. Homebrew emulator fans may recognize this as a PSP-based version of the BeebEm emulator, which is built to run games for the BBC Micro computer series on the Windows and Unix platforms.
Aside from the new PSP GPU that's been added - much like in PSPsim and PSPYape - this app also includes these changes:
Add two new commands to run games (*EXEC and *RUN). New file format for run.txt, see README for details. Be aware, this format is not compatible with previous version. Add help menu New graphical functions with new smoother render modes. It uses the PSP GPU for rendering, it does not run faster, but it's a lot smoother. Save state dates are displayed in the emulator window (it's now easier to identify and to load the right save state slot) Bug fix in Rom file requester
As with all of Zx-81's applications, full details for installation and usage are available in the README. Also try to visit his section at the QJ.NET Forums if you have the time - extra details may be posted. Enjoy your download!
