PPG is a TV guide for the PSP that uses the XMLTV format to generate listings. The original program was developed as homebrew software and is a first class example of what can be achieved by the unsung bedroom programmer (Pay attention Sony).

Instructions for PPG v0.22
First thing download the utility from your favourite psp homebrew source.

Now a couple of things are necessary so pay attention

1. Extract the above zip file
2. Inside the PPG022 folder amend the configuration file (PPG.CFG) to point to the UK listings I have generated

RepositoryURL = http://agilemonkey.co.uk/psp
RepositoryPRGList = freebox
*Window users use notepad rather than wordpad etc so dodgy characters are not added to the file

3. Download UK image files - These are a wip so please be patient
4. Load the homebrew into the game folder on your custom firmware PSP
5. When you initially run the application it will download the current listings file
6. Optional: Hack the homebrew binary to replace French text with English using a hex editor


I generate new listings on sunday night and they are normally available to download on Monday morning :-)
