Sony has just released Firmware 3.11 for their PSP handheld. This update fixes the freezing bug found in the downloadable-for-PSP title R-Type.

Apart from the bug fix, we don't have any details yet on what security patches are included in the new firmware (if there are any, that is). You can download it now, or better yet, wait until 3.11 OE rolls around. According to the eXophase forums, there aren't any big changes in the core module, so theoretically, it would be easier to crack than 3.10.
