File Description
While the Mario Kart series has always been a Nintendo exclusive, it doesn't mean PlayStation fans will never get to experience racing against the best racers in the Mushroom Kingdom. Developer SeanPaul223 recently released the third version of a homebrew port of Mario Kart 64 for the PlayStation Portable.

The latest build of Mario Kart - PSP Edition includes a lot of new features which considerably bulks up the game's content. Players can now play additional game modes, using up to ten different characters. In addition, there was a total revamp given to the game's sprites and graphics.

As for the rest of the new features, you can view them through the latest changelog we've listed below:

# Three Cups are included, but only one is fully playable
#Mushroom Cup (Luigi's raceway, Moo Moo farm, Koopa Troopa Beach, Kalimario Desert)
#Flower Cup (not yet playable. Will be added into the last release)
#Star Cup (not yet playable. Will be added into the last release)

#Race Mode: 6 tracks are available, in a solo or a two players race mode

# 10 Characters are available for playing

#The playing time was increased. (8 laps to complete a race)

# The Module for managing Best Times have been ameliorated

# Sprites and GFXs were changed (By JOY6679)

# All Bugs Fixed

The game comes in two different language support "flavors" - French and English. Just download the appropriate version and rev up those engines. As always, don't forget to check out the game's Readme.txt file before copying any files into your handheld.

You can also drop the developer a line by visiting his release thread on the PSP Development forum, accessible through the link we've provided in the main article.
