Sephiroth_FF7 has released version 0.1 of his Ghostbusters game port, known as GhostBustersDS. As you can probably guess, this game has you defending New York against the onslaught of less than benevolent ghosts.

Sephiroth_FF7 notes that his port of Ghostbusters actually takes from various versions of the game, with the visuals coming mostly from the Sega Master System version.

To play the game, here are the basic rules, translated through an online translation engine:

* On the map, the directional arows to move and A + a direction to go to a building.
o A Red zone means there are ghosts.
o A Violet zone indicates that there will be ghosts coming there.
o A White zone means that it will be attacked by the Marshmallow Man.
* Press B to use the ghost bait, use when the ghosts are going to merge to avoid the disaster.
* On the road, collisions make you lose money, approaching the ghosts you want to capture with the ghost vacuum.
* In capture mode, press A for each action.
* If the capture phase of ghosts will not start, go to GBHQ.

If you're looking for some post-Christmas ghost hunting, feel free to try this game out. You might just have a "hell" of a time.
