** This is the FIXED mapped chart for PSP Quake with Targus Universal Wireless Keyboard that penpvdbs sent us.

The PSP Quake w/ IR keyboard support mod is very much appreciated by the PlayStation Portable (PSP) homebrew community. That's Quake on your handheld units, how can you top that? Well, maybe with a similar mod. Homebrew coder penpvdbs dropped QJ.Net a note saying that he has made the game compatible with a Targus universal wireless keyboard.

According to the coder, he actually has a Targus keyboard and a Palm and what he did was map the byte code being sent from the keyboard to the psp with the help of a debug version. The first keyboard support was done by reinf4ce and that's why penpvdbs sent the code to him.

Take note that the file is not yet available as of now because the coder is still using a test version. penpvdbs also added that before releasing a public version, he and reinf4ce would like to implement a few features like hardware rendering and a menu option for different keyboards.

So for the time being, the download below will provide you with a document file containing the mapped chart on how to use the Targus keyboard with PSP Quake.
