Developer Archaemic visited the QJ.NET Forum recently to announce the release of FANG v0.1.1 and No Bull Moose (NBM) v0.2.4. For the guys who weren't around during the previous release, No Bull Moose is actually a JPEG image converter for PC, built specifically to complement the PSPComic homebrew application. FANG is a GUI built to help make NBM easier to use.

NBM version 0.2.4 should address a problem that was reported with nbm.exe, though the dev reports not personally experiencing the bug. FANG v0.1.1 carries a bugfix for the progress bar/reporting of errors, with this download being built specifically for Windows users. Quoting the readme for the rest of the details:

* NBM v 0.2.4:
o [Bugfix] Windows only: jpegtran detection should no longer crash application
o [Bugfix] Windows only: Workaround for Windows stupidity with quote handling
* Fang v0.1.1
o [Bugfix] Windows only: filenames with backslashes (i.e., all filenames) should now always work
o [Bugfix] The program will now catch errors from the backend better
o 64-bit Linux support dropped. If you want to use FANG on a 64-bit Linux installation, you'll have to compile it yourself

Full details on installing and using both programs for your respective OS are available in the file bundle's readmes. In related news, Archaemic is announcing that PSPComic v1.1 is nearing completion, although adding translations to the app is slowing development down.

There is a chance that the dev may drop the official translation for the project so far ("official" translations (except for Canadian French) just to speed up the progress. Those who want to send their feedback to the dev may want to visit the release thread at the QJ.NET PSP Development Forum.
