First person shooters have always been somewhat of a commodity for the handheld. However, that didn't stop developer Stealth_Kill from making a homebrew game for the PlayStation Portable emulating the well known Counterstrike FPS title.

The latest 0.74 version of CSPortable packs a couple of new commands such as a crouch button as well as up to two new zoom levels depending on your weapon. Other additions include a new weapon and several maps to add to your FPS pleasure.

Here are the details of all the new changes implemented since our previous coverage of CSPortable:

Version 0.74 changelog:

If you think you can cut it against other FPS afficionados out there, you can also play CSPortable on a server hosted by garretpeters. You can check out the QJ.NET PSP Development forum to find out how to configure the game on the host server.

Don't forget that you can also discuss the other details of this homebrew game with the author by clicking on the source link below. Anyway, we hope you enjoy this latest build of CSPortable as much as we did.
