Japanese coding juggernaut NJ has released yet another version of his CPS2 test Emulator for the PSP, updating it to version 4 and fixing a sound bug. Although NJ was actually planning to give up on this project, due to numerous bugs and the slowdown caused by the PSPs limited hardware, he's still weathering each storm and has been continually dishing out updates. We know we have here a playable version and works well with most ROMS we just tried on it, save for some of the fighting games which have been a problem for the creator ever since he began doing this.

This one surely has gone a long way compared to its initial release which saw father-of-Neogeo-emulators NJ himself doubting if he could work out a solution to some of the earlier problems he has encountered. Well that just shows us how much of a perfectionist he is, cause as good as it is now, he's still feeling a li'l bit unsatisfied with its performance, particularly on the (fighting) games. We saw him perform magic a couple of times already, our faith tells us he'll have a full-functioning emulator pretty soon.
