You know you've been playing Battlefield 2142 too much already when you've already given up hope on Titan mode. You're not alone, y'know. Hundreds of other players know the technical issues surrounding this game mode, and most online gamers tend to give it wide breadth.

Electronic Arts knows this. Players have been complaining about the walking-through-jello lag when moving on a Titan. This was addressed by patch 1.05, which stopped the Titan from moving after the shield were down entirely. But there still remains other issues like that of the game crashing when the Titan explodes.

So guess what? Thanksgiving is extended and EA is serving up the beef turkey. Their 1.06 patch will address this explosive bug! Even though that's the only thing that this patch fixes, it's still worth every megabite of it. Do remember that you'd have to exit the game before installing the update.
